House on Metolius, Oregon Wedding

Updated: Mar 28, 2023

This Portland couple has fond memories of time spent at House on Metolius, and feel a connection to the incredible beauty this location offers. It was the perfect setting for their special day. Truly magical.

The morning was filled with friends, family, excitement and delight. The day was finally here. Preparations included staying hydrated given triple-digit heat (the high was expected to reach 104!).

First peek and exchange of letters included all the feels.

Friends since childhood. Family now.

Clouds rolled in just in time for the ceremony which took place in the open meadow at the river's edge. The river brought just enough crispness which also helped with the heat.

The vibe was relaxed, family and nature-centric. I felt right at home.

Enjoying family and friends was first and foremost. Guests were encouraged to pull me aside for all the shots.

Toasts were a fun trip down memory lane with many laughs.

It was self-serve, open buffet, come as you like. No fuss. Just enjoy.

Sunset was pure magic.

It was a fun night of celebrating for all.

Huge congrats, C & E! Many good wishes to you and all your wonderful guests.
